Using a custom designed UAV I have collected high resolution (centimetre scale) multispectral  (visible (RGB), near infrared (NIR) and thermal infrared (TIR)) data over a number of wetland (bofedale) and pampa (meadow) systems within the Cordillera Blanca and Huascaran National Park, Peru. 

We can use the combined multispectral bands to investigate water storage and plant health within the pampa and bofedale system at extremely high (centimetre) resolution. The thermal data can also be used to trace hydrologic pathways across the land surface as well as groundwater springs (dark blue patches).  Viewing the land surface at this resolution clearly illustrates the highly heterogeneous nature of this system.
